THE SONG OF THE JAPANESE AUTUMN by YASUO KUWAHARA (1946 - 2003) performed by the Dutch Mandolin Chamber Orchestra HET CONSORT with an improvised vocalise by counter tenor SYTSE BUWALDA. The mandolin solo in the Cadenza is by played and composed by SEBASTIAAN DE GREBBER and the musicians are lead by ALEX TIMMERMAN.
The video was filmed by Jan Penninkhof and Herman Verschuren in the English Church, Begijnhof convent, Amsterdam, during the Jubilee concert on November 14th, 2015. A concert inwich we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Dutch Mandolin Chamber Orchestra HET CONSORT. Enjoy!
