One of my favourite games and my favourite Supergiant game, even though all 4 of them are in my favourites. It's a shame it's become a black sheep somewhat, but the love and effort SG puts in their games is there in spades.

What you have done to this song defies my words. Perhaps hours later, or maybe days when I come to. It used to be such a simple song, and now it bristles with tugged strings and silvery pipes and belligerent brass to cut at the softest parts of heart and soul so softly, so ruthlessly, so sweetly. I’ll be in my bunk, bleeding, wallowing, delighted. What have you done to this song. What have you done to me. What have you done to us all. Why do I want to thank you.

This song wasn't necessary in terms of the game's story. Nothing about the game's plot or characters, except maybe the minstrel, would have changed without it. Which is why this song blows my mind. This is how you build a world. The distinctive style of music, a folk song which incorporates the world's mythology, and taking a break from the larger plot of the game to tell the story of the world. Sometimes, telling is just as important as showing, and this was absolutely one of those moments. It just leaves me wishing there was one for each titan star.
