I agree in that I'm still learning their music in my mid 40s now, but still never know how to recreate that sound!!😂😂😂

just thinking of the night in '66 when i saw them at "Pearl's" in Bremerton, Washington. danced so late I missed the last ferry back to Seattle, had to drive around to get home. Loved these guys and their sound since I first heard "The Witch"

As a punk rocker I have to say The Sonics is my band completed to perfection. Dusty Watson has to be tightest drummer out there. I was born at the time, 1975, when punk rock made me cry when as a baby as it was played on the radio. Now I enjoy it to death. IMHO first there's The Sonics, The Stooges and then The Ramones. Who needs to listen to new music when there's this. It's like vintage wine and cars. Better than anything modern out there. Who needs to replace Mozart?

The base-player has a look like "i will Hurt somebody bad t'night" What a gig! I will be 59 in two weeks. Wish i could do this. I would probably, look that mean, playing my Fender, but being loving, as I am sure he is! At our age, any groupie is a good groupie! Btw, i am 97,5 kilos, about 200 pounds i guess. Guess i can go some rounds w any heavywight you tror my way. The Great ones are gode! Ali, Frazier and so on. Only one standing is Karl Anders Lundqvist! ( oh man oh man, am I in trouble now. If I was not before, I am soon to find out!)
