Hi Nishen fernando is back, I don’t agree with the “you get what you paid for” thingy because in 2016 when the iPhone 7 came my father bought a 7+ it was very expensive but now it is very cheap so this is my(dads)experience

Yes electronics in general drop in price so much after a little while. Sometimes it's not worth getting the latest because it will be much cheaper in a year and a new product comes out.

I noticed all reviews of this remote are done in closed space (some sort of studio) witch can cause IR signal to bounce around the room and hit IR diode on camera. I am wondering how well would that IR remote(s) work, and from what angles/distances, in the open.

The JJC one is total junk. I had one. It just breaks.

Thanks for the feedback on your experience. Hopefully, it won't happen to me...so far so good after a few months.

As a new beginner I recently brought a brand new NEX 7 with the Sony 16-50mm Kit lens for $300 & I’m seriously thinking about getting the RMT-DSLR2 Replaced Remote from Amazon for $6.94 my question is will all of the remote fully work on the NEX 7? Because I’m doing video recording & vlogging

Hi Mike, thx for the review. However I miss one important feature being reviewed, how the Bulb mode works. Do you need to keep pressing the button to keep the lens open (lens closes when you release the button) or has the button a toggle function (1 press = lens open, press again and lens closes)?

Thanks for the little review! Are bulb exposures also possible?

I purchased the Sony model because I thought that this was the only remote that controlled video on my A6600 and A7iii... I was wrong!

Nice vid. Well, it looks like someone else on Amazon is selling the "RMT-DSLR2 Replaced Remote" for $7.18 and it's an identical copy of Sony's RMT-DSLR2" but it will NOT work with the Sony A7C, as that camera will ONLY use Bluetooth or your iPhone (with their control app). Hope this helps.

I bought that remote recently. Works great for my A7iii. Much better than the JJC one. Looks very similar to the Sony remote. Good to know that it won't work with thr A7c

@@ITechedUp I actually found the PHOLSY RMT-P1BTB remote to work and it costs $35.00. Also, it's meant for the newer Bluetooth cameras.

Hi sorry for the delay in responding. Are you still having the issue? What type of camera do you have? See if you can change the settings to indicate the brand of the remote.

Now the JJC one is $4 cheaper than the sony. I guess my choice is so easy now. Sony!!!
@ITechedUp3 жыл бұрын
JJC is still the same price. I also checked the price history using Keepa.com , the highest it's been was $12 about 6 years ago
