That ring was gauche- a sapphire that big was probably $50K+ in 2001, not counting the diamonds. Princess Diana had a sapphire ring with two small diamonds at the ends which made that style popular as an engagement ring- but not something that large

Columbia University is up around 116th street on the West side of Manhattan. Meadow can walk to class from the dorms and take a subway anywhere downtown. Parking is non-existent and the school is in the middle of Harlem and while the school gentrified the area for a few blocks around it- the area has one of the highest auto theft rates in the city....

Jackie Jr giving that audience is one of the more subtle Godfather (young Vito in GF 2) references in the Sopranos, but it alway cracks me up 😅

Right? I just watched Amour Fou, and Jackie Jr. is way more Fredo than Vito.

The movie Tony's watching in bed is one of WC Fields' short films called "It's a Gift". It's actually quite hilarious!

Tont is watching the 1934 W.C Fields movie "Its a Gift" while eating the cake in bed. The movie appears again in a future episode of major importance

Sauce goes on pizza if it’s got meat in it it’s gravy

I swear, I have NEVER heard that distinction before. My sheltered Midwestern living, I suppose.

@@watchthiswithjoeandkevin6 I grew up in the Bronx with an Italian grandmother when people used to have that argument. This is what she told me sauce on the pizza When you make the macaroni you put gravy on it , the gravy had meat and pork and sausage in it.

@@deebob84 I'm from NYC and am part Italian and never heard gravy referenced that way. It was either "meat sauce" if it had meat in it, or "pasta sauce" if it didn't ....but may be the Bronx and Jersey are different!

I didn't catch it until I went back and looked. (Someone on Patreon pointed it out. Completely missed her).

Gravy is just Italian-American/New York and Jersey slang for the sauce. Italians don’t actually call their sauce gravy
