Michael Imperioli must not love that he had to say that line in retrospect.

I love how David Chase and others on The Sopranos make what Michael Imperioli calls "specific choices." He wasn't being beaten with a stick or a club - it was a child's toy xylophone. Stuff like that isn't an accident. The intervention from hell is one of the high points on the show. I do have a question I'd like to ask the writers about when Tony says "I know what it's like to lose a pet." I always thought it was simply that the death of "Pie-O-My" was so recent, but then there was the case of "Tippy," Tony's childhood dog who was given to Fran Felstein's son Bruce. Tony thought his father took him away to live on a farm. Then there were the ducks...seems like Tony lost multiple pets.

Journey Marie : "Is AJ catching on?" There's a reason she takes AJ to cockblock her from Furio instead of say,....Meadow. Let's just say that AJ is not the child that got the big brains in the family and she knows that. A mother knows her children. Meadow would have figured out that sh** from the jump*. Put a pin in this. We'll circle back to it later. (*also, let's just be frank about this; girls in general just tend to be smarter about stuff like this than boys are, so it's not just the fact that Meadow is cleverer than AJ.)
