This song appeared in earlier versions of Realm of the Mad God, but it is no longer in the game. Due to multiple people emailing me to ask where they could find it, I've decided to just upload the track here for posterity!

The song is indeed still used in the game actually! Its just the placeholder for areas that havent already gotten their own individual theme yet. Areas where thats the case are gradually getting sparser, but theres still a bit of a ways to go.

oh, now i know what this song is called, since i was a child i heard this music running on the back, this is probably in my whole life the most heard soundtrack of my human ears, and i thank you for making it so excellent.

Thanks for making this incredibly nostalgic theme! Just want to comment on the description, which claims the song is no longer in the game. The song is still in the game, but while it used to be pretty much the ONLY song in the game, many areas have gradually been getting their own unique music, meaning this song only plays in dungeons with no original theme music. It would probably still play on the title screen if the game still had one, but the title screen was removed when they ported the game to Unity due to Flash becoming unsupported. @@sinisterdesign I figured you'd like to know! :) People are probably referring to it being removed from areas that now have original music, like the main hub and all its sub-areas, as well as the overworld. Although many areas have gotten new music, this theme is still my favorite in the game, though it's up to interpretation whether nostalgia plays a part in that or not. :P Have you seen the four remixes of this song that appear as bonus tracks on the game's official Bandcamp OST? If so, I'm curious what you think of them! Though none of them can beat the original in my opinion. Here's a funny story you might get a kick out of: My friend, who I've introduced to the game semi-recently, knows this song as the "pirate theme", due to the Pirate Cave being the first place he heard the theme. Though thanks to an insane coincidence, the Pirate Cave got a new theme not long after he started calling it that, though he still refers to this song as the pirate theme to this day. Thanks for the heart! Even if it disappeared thanks to me choosing an unfortunate time to edit the comment.
