For a system from 1979, that is absolutely stunning. Fantastic soundtrack too

Anazing. It looks like if a NES game was running on the INTV.

I do own and finished the MSX version. Excellent game. Highly recommended!

About the only thing I don't like about the game is the hit detection when you're fighting, and the massive knock back. But otherwise it's a beautiful game with a great soundtrack.

this game seems pretty good, I would love to see this game ported to the nintendo switch

Fantastic! Well done. 👍 I feel like I'm looking at an NES game (ex: Zelda 2, Castlevania 2, Battle of Olympus, etc). I'm assuming you're taking advantage of the JLP chip. I have been saying for a while now that the best of Intellivision is yet to come, and this is one such example.

Thank you! The only feature I use from that cartridge is its higher storage capacity in order to fit the hugue maps of the world
@PuzZLeR_002 жыл бұрын
@@kaimagazine8221 Nevertheless, it still feels like you managed to stuff an SUV into a mousehole with this one. Great programming! I too am looking to develop for the Inty, but am having trouble with some clunky code. Even an incomplete one-screen maze game so far is over 50kb! Hey, can I ask the size of this ROM in kb? (I think, at least on a PC, that 80kb would be the max for an Intellivision game.)
@kaimagazine82212 жыл бұрын
@@PuzZLeR_00 yep, the inty can only hold up to 80kb without a mapper for extra ROM memory. The JLP cartridges allow up to around 200kb. This game uses those 200 kb to store world map data.

@@kaimagazine8221 Thank you for your reply, and the great info! I will look to take advantage. I really should hang out more at AtariAge, but will soon. Hey, I'd like to release something someday too. 😉 Congrats on this game, and cheers my friend! 😀

perhaps I should port my game Zezito in The Glittering Caves to the Intellivision...

this looks incredible! Did you code this in BASIC, ASM, C, or something else? Also, how did you write the music? Did you use a tracker? Very cool!
@kaimagazine82212 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! It is coded with intybasic and compiled to ASM. As for the music, I used the intybasic music commands only, so nothing fancy.

funny how they seem to skate instead of walking. maybe you should do a hockey game.
But please note that the ROM will only work with the LTO flash cartridge or with the jzintv emulator.

@@kaimagazine8221 Any chance this would work with a Backbit Pro and Intellivision Adapter.
@kaimagazine82212 жыл бұрын
@@galenhuebner526 no, this game only works with the original cartridge, and the rom only works with the LTO flash cartridge on the intellivision console, or with the JZintv emulator.
