Some of the bosses I did not expect (like the Centaur), but my favorite parts have to be the doppelganger intro (that blew me away!) and the part where Death was chasing you cutting down the chains. Also really enjoyed that final version of Drac.

Interesting game, I see a lot of influence from Belmont's Revenge and, in some stages, I also get a consistent Splatterhouse vibe, which is great. The music though reminds too much of Back to the Future on NES.

I really like some of the ideas here. Of course it lacks some polish, but considering one guy did this, there are some great ideas here; the doppleganger fight on the bridge was executed very nicely and some little things like that mosquito getting caught in the spider web or destroying those cracked blocks to flood the room just add that little bit of variety and life to the game world. Very nice job all things considered! :P

The game is actually pretty good, though it could probably stand a good hard look by a professional design team. It's very creative, particularly the bosses. It just needs some polish, a lot of the levels just seem kind of boring. And it is very nice to see a clock tower level that goes beyond the standard "pendulum swing" and "medusas knocking you off gears" traps.

I guess just seeing all these heroic types(many Belmonts, Richter in particular) and Alucard makes me wonder "But what if someone ORDINARY had to fight Dracula?" and that's also what I liked about AoS/DoS (I mean, come on, easy game and then you find out he's...I won't spoil anything.)

Seems to be pretty good, especially considering it's a fan-made game. Obviously, the music isn't quite up to par with an official company-made Castlevania, but that's to be expected. The character sprite, though, could've been better. But outside of that, it's good. Seems to have a pretty good atmosphere going. Final boss was well done.

Last night I downloaded the game, and the BGM was in a separate folder, but in a weird file format called PTCOP. I spent well into last night aimlessly investigating all I could about that file format, and finally found that I could open it with a program called PXTune... that runs on Windows, and I have a Mac. NBD; I can run it using Wine. What's more, PXTune can export these files to .wav files, and from there on out it should be easy to get MP3s.

I honestly hope that, in time, more of a background is given for this character. He is obviously of the Belmont bloodline, as he can use the Vampire Killer whip. Given his clothing, and hair, he is most likely a member from the twentieth, or twenty-first century... although the hairstyle leads me to think somewhere between the 1980s and 1990s. The breastplate he's wearing seems to be more in fashion as having belonged to Trevor, rather then Simon, as a vampire killer heirloom to wear into battle for protection. But, beyond being listed as a vampire killer, who is he? Is he fighting to kill Dracula simply because he's returned, as a broad reason, or is a loved one threatened by him, as a personal one? Is he still in his time, or has he been drawn back to an earlier time, and has to fight to return? Is he from the main bloodline, or a side bloodline, with the Belmont name, or another? The picture of him on the main box screen seems more in line with a character from the 1800's, or possibly early 1900's. However, my observations are from the character in the game itself, rather then the box artwork. He is an intriguing character in design. Hopefully, he can someday be fleshed out, and possibly appear in more games.

@iamDMAS I don't mean "ugly" as in "looking like an unattractive human", I mean "ugly" as in "looking strangely and awkwardly proportioned". It looks more like a poorly built doll than a person. It's one of a number of small artistic disagreements I have with whoever designed the sprites for this game. (I also dislike the design of the title screen, for instance.) Again, these are very minor issues with what looks like a well-made game.
