So, so true. So many folks are too cute (figuratively) to sing like this nowadays.

I’m on only 45 but as a child I remember being brought up on this style of gospel. There are still some churches in the small country towns that sings like this. I love it

I never had the chance to attend the Jubilee Gospel Showcase but I do remember anticipating the moment to see my grandfather perform on our TV. When he came home he would always sing for us. I loved my grandfather's zest for life and he was a true man of God.❤❤

I’m spiritually obsessed with this video, I love it soooo much🙌🏾🤩, I love the sounds of old school gospel music from the 50s, 60s and 70s, it’s so rich in sound✨ God is Good!

Me to brother! Nothing like a cup of gospel In the morning (along with my coffee)to get the day off on the good foot! Some of today's music is good but hey it don't pack the punch like this non synthesised Gold right here. What are your thoughts on Julius Cheeks? I really dig his style.

I totally agree with y'all definitely in the morning as I get my day started love this ❤❤❤❤❤
The group bass and guitar players like many sixties male groups threw down and with the drummer moving the beat this is a classic recording.

I love this song and this group is really singing it. When I sing it(which is all the time) I call my name (Barbara) instead of Peter's name. Encouraging myself that with Jesus telling me to do that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Even with mustard seed faith,

Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:25-32 NKJV AMEN! ⛪
