Kind of a combination of violin and hurdy-gurdy. I like the Band "Väsen" featuring this instrument combined with 5-string violin and 12-string guitar.

Thanks Jonna , I got to hear this instrument from my family's homeland for the first time in the remote wilderness of Northern Minnesota , so dark in January , 44* below 0 (F) , it was magical and there were 12 of them and it was the most ancient , primal sound I had ever heard , magic , magic ❤
