I think I can relate, when I feel angry and want to be alone, when I can't talk to anyone and I want to be alone. About 15 years ago, I was out and about and saw you guys playing. You were at some open outdoor small theatre with basic sound speakers and a crowd of only around 150 to 200 people. As I walked by you were playing something and I was so mesmerized, I came there and watched the rest of your performance that day, and met you guys as I bought one of your CD's. I think it's because it has a familiar, relatable tone. It's almost nostalgic but more melancholic than comforting or celebratory. To me, listening to it feels like watching something beloved slowly slipping away and I can't stop it. It was good to have it in my life and any attempt I make at trying to preserve it is admirable but futile. These feelings are met with and eventually reconciled with grief.

When I moved to Chicago in 1980, the first street musicians I saw on Michigan Avenue were 3 Equadorian pan flute players. To this day, I believe the pan flute to be one of the most mystical, most mesmerizing, sounds of any instrument.

I'm from North Africa Mediterranean and was always fascinated by the Native American culture and history, dance, clothes, and language. Sucks that if I want to try any of it I would be called culturally misappropriating. I see it as honoring it and keeping it alive. I wouldn't be offended if someone wore my ancient clothing or is interested in my culture. Crazy world we live in. As to the video, you guys are amazing musicians.
