Dave my brother, thanks you so so much. I've been through several instructors and none are able to teach me like you can. To sum it up you've brought so much joy into my life. This song is my favorite and I been playing it everyday since I found this tutorial. I pray someday you can find the time to make a guitar tutorial of "The Boxer" also by Simon & Garfunkel and maybe "Going Home" by Dire Straights. Take care Dave.

Very nice work Dave. This is one of the first songs I ever learned back in 1973 when I was thirteen and I sure wish I had your channel and the internet back then because you should have seen how this was written in sheet music back then, especially the chorded part. The original chorded part was really tough when I was first learning. (If you listen to the original song you know what I mean) Thank you for working up these older tunes, they are so ageless and fun to hear played again. Buddy

I just gotta say i believe your lessons are amazing! I don't know if you started and own this channel or were hired to be the face. Either way, you have revived my rusty (mediocre) skills and got me playing again. After 20 years away from playing, I am now developing nice hard pads again. After 3 months of watching your videos, Ive gone from soft fingertips that just made thud sounds to Callouses, peeling, callouses, peeling and now the callouses being rep[laced with nice hard pads. I want to add that you look like you are enjoying what you are doing and I hope you do. If you are ever in the states and near New Jersey I would enjoy meeting and talking with you. I see a very joyful person in your face and would like to know more about it. joe

Great Tutorial. Thanks for the tips on timing. Great way to lay out the general structure of a song. I always seem to struggle with this issue. I find it easy to learn a standard 4/4 song, but if song changes timing mid verse and varies like this, it can get very frustrating.

I was thinking about getting private lessons since I am beginner, after practicing this song here, although I am still struggling with changing between THE F*** and C, I decided to stay here. well done, very organized and straight to the point which one should learn to master the song. Best lesson sofar I had for the last 2 months. I would be happy if a demo version of the Premium membership would be available . or just pay for the day you practice since must of us has jobs to do and might be able to practice once a week or two. regards from Berlin
