I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.

I have similar memories of my childhood. Before my parents came, I used to look at the eaves in the rain. On days when it didn't rain, I played with my friends until late at night at the playground, and when it rained, I heard the sound of rain at home for a long time. I sometimes feel that feeling on a rainy day, which makes me feel good.💕💕

This makes me feel so calm. I needed this. Been feeling so sad, and my anxiety is killing me. Also, feeling so alone, everyone that I love is leaving me behind. I feel lost, maybe a little depressed. It's hard to hide from my parents how I really feel with so much going on at the moment. It's hard to live the day. And just by listening to this, something tells me that everything is gonna be ok. I normally listen to these types of videos to fall asleep since i have bad insomnia. This one i really enjoy falling asleep to specifically. Tonight i took the time to look through the comments and at the moment im in tears. The uplifting comments are so kind and sweet and made me smile. Its been really hard for me lately and to top it off i recently fell ill. So things havent been all that great. Im normally a very happy and smiley person, but some days i wouldnt smile at all. Barely speak. Barely eat. And keep to myself. And my mom was getting very worried. But reading these comments have helped me start to feel a bit better. And i thank all of you. Those that i can relate to and those that posted uplifting things. All of you. I hope i can be relatable and uplifting as well. No matter who you are, no matter what you're going through you are not alone. You are amazing and so many people love and care about you and you may not even know it. Take some time to take care of yourself. To love yourself for who you are. I hope everyday all of you can happily say to yourself "i love you, me." Because you deserve it. My 2 brothers and I grew up on a farm. We had this huge wraparound porch with 3 porch swings and several chairs. My dad would let us sleep out on the porch during a rainstorm, as long as there wasn't a lot of lightning. we would all get our sleeping bags and head for a swing. The wind would keep the swing moving and the rain lulled us to sleep. We never knew until we were grown how mom and dad both would sleep in the living room so they could see out the windows to watch us. Growing up in a town of less than 400 people, there was no crime and those were literally, the best days of my life. This sound definitely takes me back. Thank you!

Love the visual for this! The play of cloud and shadow over the smooth shapes of the dunes is beautiful. As far as the lightning, I where you were coming from - it sure is immersive but I'm not sure how I feel about the flashes when I'm trying to relax to this. Just a note. The sound is beautiful.
