Hey all, just a heads up, going forward, ANYONE mocking any of the witnesses in the comments will have all future comments hidden. Feel free to call into question the filmmaking, even the investigation side of things. We will no longer tolerate some of the hate being spewed in the comments sections. Thanks for watching and reading!

In 1977 we live in a cottage on a lake in upstate New York. A twenty acre field with thick forest beyond was our backyard. I built a club house near the back door using scrap plywood and pallet boards. On the edge of the forest three ponderosa pines made a triangle and finding three 16 foot two by eight planks I decided to move the clubhouse up in to the top of the pine trees. Once I had the planks sturdy and secured about 25 feet up I started nailing down the deck boards. It was the greatest hideout in the world, I could see the cottage clearly and hear mother call to dinner but remain undetected. And that is when I realized I was being watched. There were no woops, growls, whistles or tree knocking. I actually saw them . Two of them. Tall and slim and covered with medium brown hair. I think they were both male and not very old. I was about 5'7" then and they were both much taller than I was. I think they were older than I was at the time. They sat quietly, watching me nail the boards down. I could see them pointing at me and making talk to each other, but I couldn't hear them. They were about fifty yards away and though they sat behind short brush ,from so far up I could see them very clearly. When they realized I could see them, they started chortling and playfully hitting each other on the arms. I all most shyte. As they wrestled around I climbed down as fast as I could, dropping the last few feet to the ground and running as fast as I could and locked the back door as soon as I got in. The treehouse was abandoned, I stopped running our dogs in the field and stayed out of the back yard until we moved about a year later. I kept watching the edge of the woods from the upstairs window but never saw them again while we lived there. Now I live in West Central Florida, the green swamp north of me. I have a skunk ape that visits my back yard as it makes it's rounds. It hoots like an owl and it taps like a woodpecker and it squalls like a bobcat and it yelps like a coyote and it caws like the crows screeches like the bluejay. But I see the scrounged up looking black thing in the edge of the woods and it's tracks in the back yard. It is not an ape even though it's called a skunk ape.

Aweome documentaries... me and my children always watch and listen to your videos every night before bedtime... Where im from, there are sightings, and sounds that people think are bigfoot... recently someone said someone was knocking on hef cabin in the middle of the night, before that happened they were put in the lakr and saw something across the lake in the distance walking in the shoreline. They got scared and quickly went back to their camp and stayed in the cabin.

STM and Seth Breedlove put out a great film. Thank you! Awesome job. Larry Sidwell and I have spoken several times around a campfire about his experience. It always makes an impact on me hearing about it. I loved seeing the location! That was cool. The drone video was excellent. The interviews were my favorite! Maske's precise and well worded narration gets an A+ . I highly recommend that you watch this. It's great. Thank you all for sharing your experiences and knowledge and talents to bring this story to life. We're always grateful for Monogahela's help too with the audio...Love him too! The baby crying is interesting. At the Alaske cabin that you guys went to a while back, they said the only times they ever heard the baby crying thing was when women were there. Never when it was all men, which makes it even more interesting to me. And there's no way a baby would be crying out in the woods with as remote as that Alaskan cabin is. Very, very, interesting.

Maybe because it's built in instinct for a woman to go towards a baby crying. More so if you have had babys, you get to know what they want with different vet's eg: food, milk, hurt, etc

I just DONT understand the criticism and ridicule that witnesses have thrown their way. It is very frustrating. I have been able to actually not allow these people affect me anymore. After all, it’s their loss. One day they will hit a brick wall of truth. With the DNA study coming back, again, showing human female and male unknown….we can all come up with our own hypothesis. However, there is ONE fact we just don’t have figured out. And if anybody is saying that they know for sure where these beings came from or how they came into existence…well….they are lying. All we can do is respect each others thoughts. And or work together to bring the truth to the world. They are a people. They have their culture. They choose to stay elusive and in hiding for some reason. Why? Humans can be absolutely brutal. We destroy. Thank you Small Town Monsters for this program.

Couldn't have said it better! Thank you. It's frustrating for us who have been befriended by Clans in our area and have gotten a little peep behind their security curtain into their daily lives. The Sasquatch really don't care if humans in general believe in them. It's easier for them to stay hidden from and mess with non-believers! 😊

Good mix of testimonies with audio/video support. Well done and interesting to listen to the experiences. One way not to have an encounter with nature is to stay inside and miss out. As for me, I am still haunted by an accidental pic I took ten years ago in a remote mountain forest area with my new iphone as I was trying to put it back in my pocket. Instead, I snapped a pic of my shadow in the dead of winter. What we saw, was a civil war soldier with horned rim glasses and literally dozens of eyes and faces looking up out of the leaves where my shadow fell. Everyone who saw it, said it was deeply disturbing and it was.

One rolled out from a bank on a winding road, the semi(Kenworth old type) had to come to an abrupt stop thinking it was a boulder, then it got up the driver had to crouch down just to see it's head it was reported to be 12' tall 4 foot shoulders, it's belly button at same height as truck bonnet emblem, the Yowie was reported to have had three expressions, first was surprised, second embarrassment, and third anger,it then slapped the bonnet of the Kenworth, the witness said the whole truck shook.

There is a creek behind her house. It sounded like it echoed down the creek. Everything else went Dead Silent. No crickets, frogs, etc. so we got up and went in the house. Also, I grew up just a few miles away, and My Mother, my Cousin, and I saw a little one run across our driveway. The used to throw gravel at our house, especially while my Dad was gone night fishing. Very true. However, can we really place the blame on the Forest People? There are other bi pedal beings that exist and some seem much more frightening than that of the Sasquatch. So many stories from witnesses claiming that they were run off or escorted out by the Forest People. They may just be protecting us from something more sinister. Protecting us from being harmed by big cats, bear, wolves.

I particularly enjoyed the narration. It was thoughtful, very well written and Mark really is an excellent narrator.

eddbrown, my VPN often blocks notifications, as well as other things I don't want blocked. I sometimes have to turn it off to complete certain tasks. Just an FYI.

This is a fantastic documentary. It makes me want to visit America and hang out with these people and talk about their accounts. I’ve had experiences with them in the UK which you will think is fantasy

Im so so shocked to see this phenomenal channel has only 200k subscribers especially when juxtaposed with so much of the garbage on youtube . Crap channels who have 30 million subs is crazy. This is a top tier channel and overall production. Thank you for your time and effort producing these gems .

The first description of the creature, is the exact description which people give, down here In Australia, when they see our "Yowie". However the hair colour is normal dark brown.

We were camping in middle Tennessee and on 2 separate occasions we heard the same whooping......it was middle of the day first time and second time it was 3 am and it was within 20 ft of our camp and another was about 100 ft away replying.. the first one mid day was a followed by the tree knocking which went on for about 45 minutes........it was like it was waiting for me to interact and finally gave out 3 disappointed sounding grunts and became silent
