It’s a live sound/recording engineering thing…if you listen to older recordings from the 70s, 80s, and 90, some of those choir records were hard to decipher and some were hard to mix. I’m not sure who started it, but it’s been useful. And vocally, the choir doesn’t have to strain as hard to be heard.

The only people that come on platforms such as this and complain are either people who are not on music ministry or don’t have access to the technology we do. Did them having individual mics affect the anointing? No, it did not. Please stop the complaining about small things like this and allow us as singers and musicians to evolve.
