Amazing documentary, such nice spirit from all these amazing teachers and from the children playing. It would be amazing to have English subtitles for the entire thing as it’s not possible to understand it all

"Children learn through all their senses, such as the senses of smell and touch, while older children learn more intellectually. The Suzuki method is based on the idea that the earlier we start teaching children, the better, as they absorb everything around them like a sponge. In this approach, the parent assumes the role of a teacher at home, and becomes the greatest source of inspiration. This, however, can be the most challenging aspect to navigate. The method requires systematic and daily work. It’s important to establish a consistent routine and create a learning environment that is both pleasant and engaging, especially when the child is not tired. It involves making incremental progress, which is regularly evaluated by a teacher. Group lessons are integral to this method. They offer a balance of discipline and the joy of creating something together. These lessons also serve as a meeting place for children, where they stimulate and learn from each other through observation. An excellent aspect of this method is its preparation for playing in an orchestra. Children learn to play with perfect articulation, mirroring their peers, and develop skills in listening, observing, self-discipline, and concentration. For me, the violin should closely resemble the human voice, producing a sound that is soft and rich." :)
