Joseph, thank you for responding. I spent the most time with Funes the Memorious. I just re listened to this piece and found you had conveyed the uncanny essence of this story very well through the cadence of your narration.

Sebald: I do recommend the "Bookworm" interview that is available online to get a bit of a sense of Sebald and the spaces he enters. I can suggest books like "The Rings of Saturn" or "Vertigo."

Philosophy, Fantasy, Magical Realism... Was a pioneer in weaving the fictitious and fantastical with the ordinary and mundane.

Borges was a magical realism pioneer. The genre is less important than the concepts inside, though.
