Missing our lovely and fun loving great Anglo Indian community that once lived in India. The present generation in India does not know about this great community that once existed in India. We are missing the beautiful presence of Anglo Indian community including music and dancing. I pray God that this community prosper wherever they are today.

Hello guys in South London, Great to see the usual AI culture coming out at a Dance. Certainly, jive and RNRoll are the favourites done with flair and style. Enjoyed the video. Cheers, Jeffrey Woods from Melbourne

Is this the only Anglo-Indian association in Croydon? My late Mum used to travel down from Liverpool and really loved the dancing and meeting relatives.

I'm an Anglo-Indian from India and and Pakistan (in India before 1947) and thereafter in Rohri (Sindh) Pakistan until 1957 when my father, C.E. Wilson and his five brothers were Locomotive Drivers stationed at Rohri, Lahore, Khushab, Karachi and other Railway stations. I was born in Ambala in 1935 and studied in my younger days from 1941-46 alongwith my five siblings at Oakgrove Jr. High School, Jharipani , Mussoorie, Dehradun. My father and his five brothers also studied earlier at the same school. We still remember the good old days at O.G. when the Principal was Mr. Watts.. A great institution for the Railway employees children. We have an Anglol-Indian Association here in Toronto, Canada also. Would like to hear from any old Oakgrovians during the 40's if possible who studied at the Jr. High School. Anxiously waiting to hear from anyone! Charlie Wilson (aka Bootlace). Long Live the Anglo-Indians all over the world!

I grew up with Anglo Indians. I studied in an Anglo Indian school in India. I had friends good and bad. They are good for a laugh. But I must say sadly. Anglo Indians are a, highly racist people and arrogant too. Worst are those from calcutta, madras, bangalore. The ones from hyderabad are okay. The lighter skinned angloindians discriminate against their people because of skin colour. They also view with contempt at other communities like Hindus, Muslims and other non Christian communities. They adore their money though. Guess it's their unwillingness to understand history or their unfortunate ignorance.
