It was Saturday. It started to rain so everyone jammed into the mainstage shelter or anywhere they could. My and my woman couldn't get back into the mainstage. So we went and got our hoodies from the locker and headed to the classics stage. Best decision we made. What a set from the Space brothers. 🙂👍🏻

OMG!!! Masterful selections from another OG Space Brothers. If I had a dime for every moment I danced to Someone I’d be set. Especially the vocal version. I'm from the U.S and started going to trance gigs from 08'. If I were attending Luminosity, I would stick myself in the classix stage all event long. These are the legends that I missed from the 90's and early 2000's and probably won't be performing on American soils in the future. They carry that sentimental sounds and feeling I long for... The origin!

Yes I too missed the trance from the early years. I was more into hardstyle back and although I do remember the more popular tunes such as gouryella gouryella etc, I missed so much. Luckily for channels such as trance classics and twan with his interviews I'm discovering more and more tunes everyday. And fortunately where I live, in Belfast, they do bring the classic sound of trance to events. Belfast goes large did have the likes of the space brothers playing in July, agnelli and nelson too. And this December they have an incredible lineup featuring signum, lange, marco v, lost witness and ciaran mcauley. Happy days. I did see this set with the space brothers live though. It was amazing 👏

Great mixing by Steve, loved this set! Brought me back to Luminosity 2018 set, one of the best Lumi sets ever (#thatroom), which I was lucky to have experienced myself live... Didn't expect to hear such rare stuff as "Religion" (how did Steve even get the full track if it's unreleased?🤔Has to be friends with Tony from Above & Beyond i guess), "Epic Future" & "Spectrum" (probably my favourite track of the whole set). Nice to see Matti Laamanen tune, would love to witness his set in the future. "Turtle Beach" - one of my favourite Armada releases. "The Promise" - another pretty unknown track from The Space Brothers, discovered it from Lumi 2020 online broadcast. It's not too often I hear "B.B.E. - Flash" played out, as usually "7 Days 1 Week" gets all the attention. I missed the 2018 set (I was at Lumi though) but I went this year (2023) and it was just awesome. It would be so great to have a 3 hours closing/sunset set on main stage The Space Brothers. The quality of the set and the amount of tunes is just insane. You get no reprieve from dancing and jumping ahah.

I am so f’ing fascinated by the sound of the space brothers, and am I so bummed out that I wasn’t a trance fan back when they were going strong in the early 2000’s. But I am grateful that I get to hear them and their beautiful sound with their recent sets and I hope to see them live one day in the future. Think I remember seeing them once or twice @passion coalville, late 90s early 00s. As soon as "Shine" was released it was banged out at the club weekly from 1999, right upto today, 2024. It is one of the clubs all time classics - SB's are awesome producer's and top DJ's

This set made it for us. Hands down best set of lumi for us. You can see the smile on our faces, front center to front right. We danced hard and didnt stop, the rain made it even more special.
