My mother is from beautiful Asturias. Love this region....but I love ALL of Spain :) Wonderful video. We've been to most of the locations you showed here...they are all a MUST see for those who have not been there. We are here in Asturias now. Very different then rest of Spain. Spain is beautiful no matter where you go with their own uniqueness. :)

Cangas the Onis was the first Capital of Spain, never was under Muslim authority, for this the future king or queen is Prince of Asturias. The next time you have to visit other cities like Gijon, Avilés, Mieres, go to the Pozo Soton where you can be a miner for one day and then go to the west of Asturias, it's beautiful like the east you visited. One of the prettiest coastal cities in Asturias is Ribadesella. 10/10 would recommend it. But Asturias in general is wonderful. I've been there about 11 times now and each visit is unique. Truly a gem of spain

El norte de España totalmente distinta al resto del país , GALICIA, ASTURIAS, CANTABRIA, EUSKADI, Y NAVARRA PRECIOSAS!! incluso en días nublados porque tienen muchas alternativas y son diversas: costas salvajes, gastronomía, cultura, arquitectura,playas de ensueño, gentes, hostelería ,servicios .....etc.bien venidos!! gracias por enseñar ,con todos los respetos, otra España que no sea toros palmas y flamenco, a Asturias la asemejan con las costas salvajes de Escocia e Irlanda quién conoce y ha visto. Ya salió la paleta de turno que ve un hierbajo y se licúa. A ver: cada quién tiene sus gustos. Hay a quien le gustan los ambientes brumosos, grises y húmedos del norte, pero también los hay que prefieren los paisajes abiertos, limpios y luminosos de Castilla, o las vegas Andaluzas o las suaves playas de Levante, o las preciosas dehesas extremeñas o... Don't expect much Spanish sun in Asturias... Most of the time it's cloudy. I'm glad you liked my homeland :) but you should have tried "fabada" (typical from Asturias) at least Matt tried "picadillo" and you both tried sidra, that's the most typical thing there is hahaha
