Any sort of craft glue should work. Just don't use the super industrial never comes undone holds bricks together glue!

i used to do this with water,pepper and soap. Put water on a dish then add pepper on it and then dip a toothpick with soap in

We didn't have any food colouring so we used pen ink from a few different pens. However when we brought over a white board marker it caused all the other colours to move away (without even touching!). We think it might be the fumes? What do you think? Please help, THANKS!

Never put any chemical in a container which you use for food! And the never means never. :) (I know it was just a joke, but this should be clarified.) If one uses a glass to store chemical, it should be clearly labeled even while experimenting at home. And don't use that glass in the kitchen again.

Hello steve, I am a 14 year old boy from New Zealand. I love chemistry and Biology. Last year and some of this year i have been brought down by depression. For a while i believed that i wasn't good at anything but in the last month or so i have watched your shows and it was inspired me to keep going and not give up. If you put a flame tornado in a tube that's a few feet long, and put holes on the top of the tube, but the tube isn't facing straight up, will the flame go towards the holes or will it try to go straight up.

The experiment we did at school about surface tension was you had a bowl of water, you put pepper (from a shaker) on the water and then got a toothpick, put it in soap then put the toothpick into the water.
