Your knitting trip sounds wonderful. Being English, and having spent a lot of time in the Netherlands and all over Scandinavia, I would thoroughly recommend that you take along cardigans, rather than sweaters. They are so much more versatile for layering as usually, it is not very cold in the autumn. Another point, as retired teacher myself, I say “Go team English”, NOT mathematics!! Final point - if you go to a proper outdoor market (the village in which I grew up has had a weekly outdoor market for several centuries) you will find that regional British cheeses are so much better than French or Italian!! (Having said that, being married to a Texan, I do have a guilty pleasure with aerosol ‘Cheese”)!! Loved the podcast, as always. Jinny - UK
