Dear Robert, this brought tears to my eyes…such a beautiful memory and tribute to your Dad. He was a true legend. My girls grew up watching Crocodile Hunter, one even did a book report on Steve! We all cried when he died and mourned his loss. Your family has carried on his memory and his passion for wild animals in such an amazing way! He was an amazing man and raised an amazing family and your Mom is a wonderfully strong amazing woman! I love seeing his legacy carried on by his amazing family! ❤

We got there early one day, one of the first people through the gate. We were walking down the main track. As a motorcyclist myself, my ears pricked up when I heard the Honda. Steve came hooking around the corner, waving to his staff and looking over his shoulder saying good morning, only to look up to where he was going moments before colliding with us, raising his left hand , apologising, without slowing down for a minute. He was always a man on a mission. That was my brief encounter with Steve. I think of that moment and laugh whenever I think of or go to the Zoo

XR100 and a CRF100F; Looks like Steve's changed bikes between 2005 and his passing in 2006. His original bike as seen in the video is an XR100 at 0:07 and elsewhere, at 0:45 we see Robert with a CRF100F then finally at 1:42 we see a picture of Steve on a CRF100F. That CRF100F with the black seat top looks like the 2005 - 2006 model.
