If you are too young to never have been to a Specials concert (especially back in the early 80's) then you missed out on the best live band ever and being part of the audience at a Specials concert is something you never forget... :-) To really get a feel for just how great these concerts and the atmosphere at them was, try and get a hold of the movie "Dance Craze", it's 90 mins of live concert footage of all the great Ska bands of the era and is simply magic... :-)

Back in the late 70's / early 80's, UK radio would regularly play this live version. When I later found out there was also a studio version, I had to hear it and felt a little disappointed if I'm honest as my memory of this song is 100% this version down to every bass walk, snare pop, organ chop and audience cheer. Still bloody brilliant 40+ years later.

I'm more of a hiphop head but i get all "nostalgic" over stuff like this, reminds me of living at my parents house as a child. Some of the music theyd have on the stereo, i hear it now and it clicks and brings back so many memories
