@@TateSneak46 It was not cancelled because of that, y’all need to get your facts straight. 🤦‍♂️ It wasn’t because it was unlikely that they would work together- they will argue and fight about it, but they were able to agree enough to work on the MCU films. The reason it was cancelled was because although Sony owned the character/TV rights, Disney owned the merch rights. So they weren’t getting that much money from the show, and eventually they cancelled it. Browntable and a bunch of other KZbinrs made videos on how it happened, and I will be referring to those as my sources, if you want to check to see if I’m right.

I had this thought the other day. If Spectacular Spider-man showed up on Netflix, people would watch it, love it, and then feel bummed at the cliff hanger. They would then join in on the season 3 wagon in vast majority. Young Justice is the perfect example of this

@@Unwisesaucer Well Young Justice was revived (I know Season 3 was hot garbage, but still, they made it), and Sony and Disney did reach a deal on Spider-man on the cinematic front. Maybe they could do something similar with this. Like put it on Disney+, and have the subscriptions go entirely to Disney, while Sony gets the merchmoney.

@@Verebazs season 3 was not hot garbage. Animation quality was lower and the bigger cast cemented the focus on plot over characters but otherwise the detail, the world building and story itself are still great. Season 2 already started the transition from what the show would prioritize.

They can do what Superman & Lois has done and make it be that the show is leaning more towards the Human side of Spider-Man, just as how they leaned Towards the Human side of Superman.

@@geraldhammond5507 Yes, and it's just a Spider-Man show that's for older audiences, it doesn't delve deeply into The Human side of Peter Parker and the consequences that being Spider-Man could do. I'm not saying it doesn't show the consequences of being Spider-Man, but I'm saying it's not showing more of an Adult Peter Parker. Imagine watching a Show about an Adult Peter Parker and how his life as Spider-Man has been. A 22 min episode with Spiderman showing up occasionally. Basically it would be more Peter Parker Centric.

@@Drums_of_Liberation Those stories are either by Dan Slott or Joe Quesada, usually Joe Quesada. I know that Early on the 2018 run it was all criticism of Dan Slott's run on Spider-Man. Dan Slott was one who believed that Spider-Man's greatest enemy is Peter Parker, which is evident with how badly his later runs becomes (especially during All New All Different and after it). while Joe Quesada believed that Spider-Man's prime was when he was alone, which is why he made One More Day. My favourite version of Spider-Man was with John Romita Jr/J. Michael Straczynski's run, because it shows Peter being a High School Teacher, showing how much he loves teaching about Science and his care for Children. It also shows Spider-Man researching and solving mysterious issues, like there was a Story where Spider-Man had to find a couple missing children. Peter Parker, imo, was at his prime during the late 90s- early 2000s. I just know that John Romita Jr. Run with him was pretty good for the most part.
