As a Hungarian, I've never been more insulted. Paprika runs in our veins, sometimes we add it to food "just for the color", because food that isn't orange is not food. And considering how every Italian recipe involves oregano, I don't think you can blame this on Europe. This is on you only.

There's Europe and then there's White People (TM): generally in reference to Americans of European descent who long ago cast aside whatever interesting regional dishes their great grandparents might have cooked in favor of assimilation. For example, Italian food slaps. Hungarian food too. But just because someone has an Italian or a Hungarian last name doesn't mean I can trust them not to serve me the exact same mix of unseasoned noodles and bland tomato water that they have the NERVE to call pasta or goulash. This style of cooking is offensive to other Americans, to Europe, to the world. And yet it persists. Hopefully the shame accrued from this video (and others like it) might save us
