Continuing his tour of China, the Primemutton moved on to Chengdu in Sichuan province. The heart of spicy Chinese cuisine.
Chinese food in China is nothing like the dishes most of us eat at home. Unbeknown to many,Sichuan food is some of the spiciest food on the planet , so Join Mutton as he navigates us through some traditional Sichuanese favourites and is left with a tongue that is "Comfortably Numb"

Real Chinese food here folks, many don't realise how spicy it can be, a spice merchant's dream. Of course there's plenty of less spicy food available here , and anywhere you can find a sizeable Chinese community/University with plenty of Chinese students. Of course it's not quite as good in Europe/North America , but if you find a good Sichuan restaurant it's not too far off. So give the sweet and sour pork , lemon chicken and orange beef a rest once in a while and broaden your horizons and taste buds!

Love the way they do fish in China . In fact I like most food there , I just can’t take that 55-60% white liquor they seem to love with food.
