Every week I'm so excited to see where the story goes, but this episode blew me away. Obviously everybody did a terrific job, but Dolly's conversation with the Spider Prince was the absolute highlight

I'm late this week but this has been my favourite episode yet! My favourite scene in the show so far was I's conversation with Parvus in episode 2, but "Brandon" and Vim may just have finally knocked it off it's perch. Had me laughing out loud! Fantastic improv from Harry and Ben 😂

Have to agree, I especially love Harrys characterwork and storytelling - My favourite yet though was his work with the prison guards, all of the scenes but peak was the conversation with Raidion and Dolly.

Did Dolly want them to get caught? Setting the fire while they were still scouting and then sending a guard to block the only exit from the plaza.

I think it's just lack of forethought. She set the fire because things weren't going well so she decided oh fuck it! I believe the guard thing was just to keep another person away from the action. It being something of a good idea makes it better to motivate them to do so. Unfortunately you are right that it will trip them up later. The thing is this often happens in D&D. Nobody cam see everything and it's easy to second guess other people. The fire thing wasn't a big deal but I do hope (haven't even quite finished the episode) that honest mistake with the guard doesn't cost them.

I know it is a show so they probably didn't want to spend extra time faffing on it.

They call Raidion the impulsive one, but Dolly is even worse. (Other examples: Bungling the 'cult' encounter in the woods. Trying to open the other door in the council building, which was pure meta-gaming.)

I, the character not the me, often does the same just because he doesn't understand other humanoids and their society. I would say it's a little poor form on regards to Dolly's relationship with Endellion. However not really metagaming though it's definitely impulsive. The only difference with Raidion is most of the time nobody else in the party understands what the hell he's doing.

I think when he revealed himself he *wanted* to be seen as himself at that point, so we can assume he dropped the spell without Ben saying anything (which would technically be an action, but given the relative looseness of the combat rounds in this initiative, it can probably slide)

I so enjoy watching you guys play - i love the world-building, the storytelling, even the banter, but man....i wish the swearing would cut down a bit - i watch/listen with my son, and the f-bombs are getting to be a bit much - would love to see this story through, but may not continue to watch if it stays on this track - just not the family-friendly d&d i'm hoping/looking for
