QUADIO is back! Quadraphonic sound, or 4.0 surround sound, utilizes FOUR audio channels connected to four speakers positioned at the corners of a listening space. The ​multi-tracked ​audio is mixed dimensionally, immersing the listener in an expansive soundscape. Alice Cooper's, "Billion Dollar Babies," was a huge surprise for me. I love the sound and the, sometimes alternate, mixes of some of the songs. I also own the Chicago and Doobie Brothers' Quadio sets. Brilliant! I have America's "Holiday," coming my way. And I'd love to hear Joni Mitchell's "Court'n'Spark." I believe there was a quad release of that. There are also some Eagles albums like "One of These Nights," that was released in Quad. I'd like to hear that.

Bob Dylan's "Planet Waves" was released in Quad by WEA. It was originally on Asylum, but has reverted back to Columbia. But, I would certainly buy it if it became available.

It's probably wishful thinking, but I'd like to see Quadio releases of Asylum titles like Jackson Browne's Late for the Sky, Eagles' On the Border and One of These Nights, Joni Mitchell's Court and Spark and Hissing of Summer Lawns, and the Souther, Hillman, Furay Band's S/T and Trouble in Paradise. Also, ZZ Top's Tres Hombres.

Most of the Quadio titles were familiar to me, since I own 1st gen (1970s LP/Q8/Q4) copies. All but the full Chicago set & Mingus titles. Still, I didn't hesitate to pony up for hi-rez reissues using todays technologies. Some titles I have on Q4 reel that I'd love to see reissued (if these titles are still in your license portfolio) are Aqualung & War Child by Jethro Tull and Summer Breeze & Diamond Girl by Seals & Crofts. Musically, that's pretty diverse, but sonically & aesthetically, I think they would both make impressive releases. Truthfully, whatever you release next, I'll likely buy it. When I got bitten by the Quad bug in the early 1970s I had no idea it would be a chronic condition lasting over half a century. I've conceded there is no cure, but events like Rhino's Quadio series at least give me the opportunity to 'maintain'. 😏

The sound quality is great. Beautiful, enveloping vocals from the Spinners. Excellent intonation on Mingus Moves. I love George Martin's arrangement and production on Holiday. Sundown has absolutely stunning vocals and guitar, not to mention some interesting Moog synthesizer on "Seven Island Suite" and "Is there anyone home".

Don't know if Rhino has access to the tapes, but I'd love to hear Passport's Hand Made which was released in Germany in quad on Atlantic.

I'd be up for a Seals and Crofts Quadio box containig their four Quad releases. Same for Sinatra (five Reprise albums were releasedin Quad). Also, James Taylor's Gorilla and One Man Dog, and Paul Simon's S/T and There Goes Rhymin' Simon.

There is,currently, no way to enjoy hi resolution versions of Kansas'; Leftoverture and Point of Know Return. Quadio versions of these iconic albums would preserve them for posterity. I implore you to consider these records for near future release, I have purchased every Quadio release thus far, and for many reasons,consider them to be superior to many 5.1 mixes. For all of us out here, thank you.

This should be easy since you have a contract with The Doors. May I suggest The Best of the Doors (originally released in the CD-4 matrix)? The others may be difficult. Maybe you can set up a special arrangement with Warner Music and Sony Music. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (SQ matrix), John Lennon's Imagine (SQ matrix), Harry Nilsson, and Nilsson Schmilsson (originally released on CD-4)-and maybe you can release Elvis' Promise Land, Aloha from Hawaii, and Live from the Mid-South Coloseium. These were released by RCA in Q8 and CD-4.

I see some overzealous editing, the cutting makes it look like he's shaking to you. It's a "modern thing" to make static camera positions seem more interesting, and to cover up edits being made - but when you do it too much it's very distracting.
