The art like many martial arts are more about the spirit and the deeper “better self” BEFORE the physical skills. A very important characteristic of any master. That is AWESOME. I know Judo masters nearing 100 years old, The best part of Judo is the inner skills... but combined with outer skills, really does change your life... I'm happy for you, and excited for your journey.

Do you still train Judo in CT?

I do not-I now reside in Massachusetts, where I mainly practice and teach Zen practice, T'ai Chi, Qigong, and obviously Judo from a spiritual, physical maintenance and psychological aspect... Master Shintaro Nakano has been beneficial with lot's of great online material as well. But I do miss early Connecticut training- foundational. What about you?
