It's so sad that Rhino Records is gone - They did those four 100+ song doo-wop compilations and one girl groups comp. I think I could put together another girl group and a couple of "Lost Soul" 60's and 70's comps easy just from what I've found on KZbin - getting the rights would probably be a nightmare though (the last Doo-Wop compilation from Rhino (actually, from the guys at Rhino who did the first three official Rhine compilations), some of the songs were so obscure that they hand no information about the records, and the royalty payments for the writers and producers and such had to be put in escrow accounts.

Nobody makes any money off compilations of obscure songs. Companies like Rhino would press 250 to 500 copies and rarely had to press anymore.
