A good sports bookie doesn't care whether you win or lose. For every bet there is a counter bet matched to make sure they are not at risk. That is also why the odds change constantly (to entice people to take one side or the other).
@WoodrowThe3rd3 жыл бұрын
@@wildspeaker007 Exactly. A bookmaker wants action on both sides of the bet, that is precisely why a line moves. Spencer said it himself; they make money off the vigorish. To say you cannot make a living betting on sports is just not true. Also, there are legit handicappers who sell their picks & they are documented by legit sports handicapping monitoring services. Any they are only winning 55% of their games at best & it doesn't matter because 99.9% of people still can't make a living off those results because of emotion, so their money management kills them as they vary their bet size too much. Most sports handicappers on the internet selling picks are touts, though, like this guy flashing the money, etc.. And I'm aware there are monitoring services that are sketchy at best. Anyway, what casino is this anyway where they won't pay winning tickets? That doesn't happen at any legit sportsbook.

Out of all the kinds of gurus you expose, the sports betting ones are my favorite by far. Because it's such a blatant scam for the reasons you mentioned, they wouldn't be allowed to continue if they were actually winning. Even online gambling sites will restrict your account if they notice you're beating the closing line too often. People need to understand that you CANNOT beat the casino long term in any game where you're not competing against other players, such as betting exchanges & poker, where the casino makes money regardless of who wins.

You really nailed everything that matters, the one thing I found the most surprising is his setup. He's not even pretending to be sophisticated, he just says "I have picks" and people buy them? We spend a TON of money on data, GPUs, and our staff. We use our own network of servers around the world for placing bets and pay for alternative data and special feeds... Just to make a decision. We're using statistics and computer science for everything we do... Meanwhile, that guy is like "I wake up and can know what to bet on in about ten minutes". AND PEOPLE PAY HIM. Also, I don't even live in the USA and drive a normal car... I'm typically behind security and NEVER tell people what I do for a living, let alone advertise my life online.

first time seeing your channel , i grew up around sports gambling and still bet sports and can say this is best videos i have seen on the fake sports guru . I do not get how people fall for these clowns , in Steve Stevens showtime show he tells a gamblers to bet on a moneyline favorite of something like -170 or above and that was huge red flag but no once knows enough to know that you have no skills to pick a -170 ML favorite and then when that lost he told the bettor to double up which is basically a chase system . 🤦♂️

I started gambling (very small) for fun and went on a long losing streak. I figured it and became a lot more careful with my picks, made couple of hundred dollars then lost it. From that moment I knew the fact that the “house always wins” 😭😭 I deleted that shit with quickness and sometimes I do it for fun every once in a while but I also realised that you can become super addicted within a very short time. I hope all the people that struggle with this get the help they need because it’s no fun and I fact it’s just a cycle of misery where you win, lose, break even, lose, lose, lose, win and repeat!!!

simply put: if the retail bettor would/could win, vegas wouldn't exist. the city in the desert exists because the casinos always wins, always.
This guy has a billboard on Flamingo at I-15. He’s probably paying $50,000 a month for that. He’s like a personal injury lawyer. He probably pays more on advertising than anything else in his life.

I know I’m late here, but sportsbooks will quickly limit winning players. The general rule of thumb is that if a book will let you put down $100k on a single bet, there’s usually a reason…

They will take any bet that is balanced by an opposite bet, and collect commission from both bettors.
@Olivpinc3 жыл бұрын
This is slowly going to slow down since most states are starting to legalize betting. In the end, all you really have to do is bet at a different sportsbook. Yes, the odds might be worst, but if you are on that level betting an extra hundred or two shouldn't be a problem.
@martinbonner25853 жыл бұрын
In the UK you will get what is called gubbed. They limit how much you can bet and eventually you get banned. Assuming casino's talk to each other you would get banned from them all if you were winning the money this mug claims

That why you find those losers because if you truly do have an edge? The casino won't think twice about placing big bets on behalf of these types of accounts.

Every single difficult job has a side scam called "consultant". It makes sense that sports betting, which is very difficult, would have a "consultant" category. People trying to make money by not doing the job.

@@adamsdad7635 Fine line...remove consultants take the money they make and replace them with 2-10 of the people they are consulting. People consult because they are tired of working in whatever field they decide to consult in. Real professionals share ideas and collaborate to get the job done, consulting not necessary.
