I'm moving to Portugal for half a gap year with my friend in January. I think value betting would be a good option for the compared to the minimum wage jobs that we could get there. Do you reckon that it could work and how fast do they ban the accounts? Aiming for like 700-1000€ a month maybe (?)

I think it would work, might be better doing arbitrage betting though if you want to guarantee a profit.

One thing that confuses me with vaule betting is how much to bet? Lets say i had a £500 bank role, how much would you put on each bet?

Would stake 1 to 2% of your bankroll and increase when you double it. Also adjust stakes sizing for odds, bigger odds small stakes, lower odds higher stakes.

So here goes mate … you start with £500 and bet maximum 2% as advised . So you bet £10 on each selection . Odds monkey costs £30 a month with is a full 3pts profit !! You are pi55in against the wind mate . There is no way this works . If it did it would be simple to implement and nobody would have to work . It can be done but not this way ❤

So value betting is just the same as finding arbs? Accounts probably wont last very long

Yeah often a value bet will be am arb. Sometimes due to a gap on the exchange or bookmaker margin a selection is a value bet but not an arb.
