One of the contestants on an 'X Factor: Worst Auditions' show claimed to have worked with Matt as his vocal coach. She was a rather aggressive, confrontational woman who started off with a really bad attitude, when she stomped in, marched straight up to the judges desk and after a very dismissive "Hello" followed up with - "First of all let's sort this out, I am not a number, I am a human being, at which point she tore the I.D. number from her arm, screwed it into a ball and threw it at the judges, just missing Dannii Minogue's face! She then introduced herself as "Ariel, a holistic vocal coach...I'm a generalist, not a specialist" and when Simon asked what that meant, she facetiously said "I'm a vocal coach, I work holistically" She was then extremely cocky, arrogant, patronising and sarcastic with the judges, interrupting Cheryl Cole who'd politely asked her to stand on the X by saying "Now can I get on with singing please?" She then performed what she described as "an academic construction - not a song - to show you what my voice can do". Unfortunately she'd pissed them off so much by the end of her 'academic construction' that although she clearly had a good voice, they just weren't interested, so she'd shot herself in the foot and no amount of back-peddling and trying to show some humour or manners was to any avail. So she was escorted out by the 'bouncer' after telling them all (in song) 'to shove a piece of metal right up their arses' !
