Hi there! Thanks so much:) I try to switch between poly and prisma since I love both 😄. I'm sure Chris will make wonder with any type of pencils. There's another amazing colorist on Instagram @cherrycolous if you haven't checked her out. Chris, cherry and Shirley are the top three for me!

Hello Jing, I bought this coloring book just because of how you colored it. I haven't started it yet as I'm scared it won't look as good as yours. Keep the videos coming because you are doing very well.

Hi Denise. Thanks again for your support. It's heart-warming to hear your thoughts. I had the same concern when watching masters like Chris Cheng and Shirley Yang, but we should not worry about it. After all it's just paper and you can always do better on the next one. Hope you enjoy the process!

Hi Marylin, thanks for coming by! There are two coloring maestros I'd like to recommend to you, Chris Chen and Shirley XYL, if you haven't followed them on YT. Everything in their videos is perfect. Happy coloring!

I wish you would come back and do more videos, it seems we are losing all the really talented artists. I hope all is well with you and your family, and good health. I hope you get this message. God Bless you!

Keni Vrataric Oh dear thank you so much for the warm words!!! I have been busy and stressed so didn’t feel like doing videos. But I will try better, maybe some short ones next week. Agian, thank you a lot!

Jingle Zingle you are so welcome, I’m sorry you are under stress, but you know coloring helps that, lol. All seriousness tho, I don’t want you to do anything if you are too stressed out, and I’m so honored you responded to my request. Thank you!

amazing!! i love gow u put the name of the pencil in. i struggle with finding the right shades and mixes. also, what paper do u use under your hand ? is it tracing paper or something else ?
@JingleZingle8 жыл бұрын
Juliana D Thank you! Yes that's tracing paper. I happen to have a roll of it for other things and figured it'd be useful for coloring. It's quite helpful with testing colors as well!

Just found your page. Planning to order this book. Your coloring is beautiful. I hope to follow your process. I have polychromos but haven't used them yet. What do you mean about them being tricky and what types of papers do you feel them work best on. Thanks
@JingleZingle7 жыл бұрын
Hi Bonnie, thanks so much for your kind comment! First off, I'd suggest to check a flip through of this book before ordering. Here's one if you haven't watched: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4jUnGRndqdlqqc. I liked it at first but didn't find myself working on another page with great motivation, lol. Maybe I just got other book that I liked better. About the pencils, I'm comparing it to Prismacolor, which have a much softer texture. After using the Polychromos for a while, I got used to them more. Your wrist might get a bit sore with Polychromos because they're hard, and some colors require pressure to get a good pigmentation. On the other hand, Polychromos is better than Prismacolor in terms of coverage. I get a lot of white spots with Prisma because they're so softer so it's hard to press the pigments into the tooth of the paper, while Polychromos doesn't have that problem. The coverage is super smooth and even, without white spots, if that makes sense. I think they'll work on any coloring book unless the paper is super smooth. It'll probably outcoloring Prisma on more textured paper. I think I love them both and switch between quite often. You'll like them after getting used to it. Good luck coloring!

I am so excited that I found your videos today. I really like the full videos and how you show the colors. I recently got my Polys and have had a harder time with them than using my prismas. I am excited to try with them more now. Thank you for sharing with us all.
@JingleZingle8 жыл бұрын
Thank you Christina! I definitely understand the trickiness of the Polys. They are amazing only when working on certain paper types, while prisma are more tolerant. The good thing for polys are they keep sharp for longer and great for details. I liked it a lot when coloring Floribunda, and you might have watched that one already. Anyways, come by talk with me more!
