It's not sequel... it's SQL The right pronunciation is eS Que eL Sequel is "the next chapter in a series or movie, or books etc."

It was originally called SEQUEL (Structured English Query Language). Both are correct pronunciation.

I think this sql guy’s pay grade enables him to call it a squirrel if he wants. also I’d agree with you that arguing over details that everyone understands is DEFINITELY worth our time, let’s make sure to correct everyone all the time and make the world a better place
