I have an idea for the walls, try to make the walls thicker and make some holes in the first layer... Then add some gears inside to make it look like a mechanical tree house. You can make the gear rotate or not, depends on the frames. I would love to build a piece of the wall but I don't have scrap mechanic neither a PC, only laptop. :P

That freakout on the door in the beginning is because the game doesn't like pistons being extended as a "zero" position. so when you put that stuff on a lift or do stuff like welding, it defaults to the pistons being collapsed, and then when it comes to rest, it starts going to that zero position. And the sqeeze-a-vator is awesome!

It's perfect it just needs to be able to go to the bottom floor to. And you should have a steem punk way to get to the floating house. Like a moving bridge

The sqeezy elevator is really cool just by looking at it closing. The closing animation looks just like an elevator closing door, excepts it's lifting.

That elevator is cool. I bet it would work with only half the pistons, squeezing you against a wall. Another cool idea could be a roll-up staircase :)

ScrapMan, the elevator also works if you have only one moving wall, that pushes you against a stationary wall (doesn't look quite as good, but reduces the amount of pistons)

you need an Entertainment Room, you know with a TV, Giant Window, maybe even a Diagonal Window too, so it is on the wall and goes up to a 45° Angle or something, and of course a couch

You should try to use angle blocks to stay in the middle when you go down

You should use thesteampunk cameras on a rotating bearing and a bunch of logic blocks as a screen so you can have a security system

you could have used pistons that go up a and down moving a wall for detectors to see, much less wiring and logic involved, also for the top flat part, you can move the top piston down a level with an attaching arm because its the last to close and first to open not obstructing the lower piston

Scrap!!! Get rid of one of the sides of the pistons and replace them with a flat wall that the pistons run into so it looks better going down!

Put down suspension on the place you deleted the piston then put a platform connected to it so when the pistons go back so dose the floor or make a sensor that opens a top piec/roof piec/hatch/floor so you go thrue and walk out and then it closes.

Remove the follower in the door and replace it with the old going up and make the because the floor in the door is flat and the door frame has this gearshape

Hey Scrapman!!! Instead of wood blocks pushing you up, use wood angle blocks that are faced in. I my look like spikes but it maybe more smooth. I would test it myself but I don't have Scrap Mechanic.
