This not only happens to ssb2,it also happens in gta games such as gta san andreas and gta 5. The map borders are unlike ssb1,which just teleports you to spawn location when you try to go out of bounds,probably because the unity engine used is weaker

I once tried to go over the edge of the f_grass map in single, and I couldn't find the black barrier and I was confused, and then I realized the map was infinite till I reached the very end my game started getting glitchy asf, and then after ssb2 crashed for a I tried t rejoin on the map and I couldn't find it, madness games has tried to trick me into a loophole called "inf" till I received a discord message about my friend saying that I shouldn't play ssb2 rn, then that's what's has struck, I crashed again, but when that time I was recording, I looked deeply to the video and saw a darkblue like creature with red eyes, no name and it was 34 meters(3 ssb2 chunks or 50+cm) away, then I got banned for "cheating" and "input files" into the serve I had joined, what seemed like a creature thats dangerous, then I stopped playing ssb2 for a while. So yea that's that's I quit ssb2 to this day

i have raided 45 18+ servers and every hosy at the server keeps quiting becuase i do killing,griefing,spawn killing,spamming planes,spawning a spike car and draging it to players,chatting Mean so they get mad and i fight back to them,last one is when they have theyre S3x positions i delete it like a couch or a bed thats what i do for joining 18+ servers
