@@johnlewissports what do think of afl on NFL Network airing right after the Saturday night UFl games start do you think it will effect the UFl ratings this week?

@@metalcrip89 for me, the jury is still out on if this version of the AFL is going to catch on with the general public. I could be wrong (which is not unprecedented) but it seems to me there are a lot of red flags with this league before kickoff. Maybe a discussion for another video 🤣

If I wasn't a pro football nerd I probably wouldn't have even noticed that their afl website hasn't been updated in forever doesn't state anything about teams or airing on NFL Network definitely doesn't look very good lol 😆

Yes St Louis has supported the Battlehawks from the beginning. I can’t understand why other cities like Michigan and San Antonio are not showing up . They have Domes to - I don’t get it.

It's funny, I know St Louis is an outlier so sometimes it's not fair to compare other cities to it, but the amount of excuses I keep hearing for low attendance in the other cities (graduations, proms, some festival) doesn't ring true when there were 31,000 fans at the Dome Saturday while there were 41,000 at the Cardinals game at the same time.

Yeah S.A. IMO has a mix of league wide and unique problems. I say league wide with the honest fact that the UFL has done 0 zero local advertising. So casuals who might check out a game don't know what's going on. The unique problems are that 1. The city has been host to many failed spring leagues and so the football faithful are mistrustful. 2. There's a faction who believe (right or wrong) that San Antonio deserves an NFL team and won't settle for what they see is minor league.

@@talkingthetalk3640 these are all really good points. How many times over the years did we hear about the NFL and San Antonio flirting with each other? I thought with the fan success of the short lived AAF Commanders that SA might rival St Louis with the XFL/UFL.

@@johnlewissports interesting thing about the AAF and Commanders was that Charlie Ebersole ( the face of the AAF) was in S.A. promoting the league on local TV news, 2 or 3 weekends in a row. Imagine if the Rock did that, there would be no attendance problems. Lol

Hey Goodell, Kroenke, Demoff and Jerry Jones, take a look at this: STL is a football town. You morons made a mistake ditching the Gateway City. I'm glad the Rams are back in Hollywood but at least give St. Louis a new NFL team. Thanks.
