I'm curious how do we determine which lead is positive vs. negative? I remember the lecture where you talked about the different views of the heart we see from different leads. Ex: I,II,III, aVR, aVL, aVF. I thought the augmented leads were all positive electrodes? aVR=from LA/LL looking to the RArm? (And that's moving toward the positive electrode of RArm?). I understood everything else except the postive/negative part, and how we can determine that.

I just stumbled across your channel. And I'd like to say, you remind me of the mathematics guy from Khan Academy. Regardless, great videos. They were very interesting. Also, do you take video suggestions? Because I'd like to give one. It's not a well known condition but I personally believe that it's under diagnosed. Anyways, hope you have a good day!

Thank you and believe it or not but Khan Academy was my inspiration for this style of presentation. I'm always open to suggestions and if they seem like good choices I add them to my todo list.

@@ICUAdvantage So, basically my suggestion is Hemiplegic Migraine. It's a type of migraine disorder that mimics a stroke. It can even leave someone permanently disabled like a stroke. One notable difference between a stroke and a hemiplegic migraine is that a stroke has a cure, while a hemiplegic migraine doesn't exactly have any cure as of yet. There are preventative treatments and behaviors to minimize the chance of a hemiplegic migraine being triggered or occurring, but there is no cure for when it actually happens. So it's always advised that if someone has a history of hemiplegic migraines, they prevent any and all future migraines as much as they can. Because once you've had it once, you are much more likely of getting it again. What's even stranger is that in addition of being able to cause brain damage and permanent disability like a stroke, it can also be a cause of death like a stroke. The only difference between a stroke and hemiplegic migraine is what they are caused by Stroke = Malfunctions with blood flow to the brain Hemiplegic Migraine = Malfunction of neural pathways in the brain. I'd go into more detail but I think it'd be better if you looked into it yourself. The National Library of Medicine has some great articles on it.

@@ICUAdvantage For some reason youtube deleted my reply but basically I was suggesting that maybe you could cover hemiplegic migraine. It's basically a rare type of migraine disorder that mimics a stroke. The National Library of Medicine has a really good article on it that can be a great starting point.
