Last went to Stables 10 years ago when farmer owned it. He was born and bred in there and room upstairs was just as it was when his grandparents owned it. Did well out of foot and mouth disease back when and converted to what you see today. Must have sold out. Used to be a walkway out onto pond for weddings.

Not a place you'd go to every week but it's a lovely spot and a beautiful building. Be careful turning right into the car park tho...my Mrs was in a bad car accident, when an old couple suddenly decided to turn in and totally wiped her out.

Hey Simon The stables, a fantastic place to dine with your better half. That steak butty, chips and gravy was to die for.. Heaven on a plate.😋😋 Me & Mrs k, will be surely making this a must, if we're in the area. It's a real shame the staff didn't offer you that free pint, as mentioned on the leaflet it didn't have an expiry date.😢 You're too easy going, as a free pint would've wash the meal down a treat. 😂😂 Poor Mrs M, feeling a bit awkward off camera & you teasing her too 🤭😂 I bet afterwards off camera, you got a bit of a ear bashing. 😂😂 Cheers for the review & recommendation. Like the split screen two cameras edit you done. Video skills are improving really well Simon. Mrs M has a nice voice, i can imagine your worried she may steal the show lol. Just wondering about ales if they have real ales there as it looks like the kind of place that would have decent bitters and pale ales etc not generic stuff ( doom bar "cough') lol.
