Part of the time he's clueless/not in control, but the other he's an all knowledgeable god and you're his puppet. Sometimes it's a weird combination of both. Does he remember everything and is just an extremely good actor or does he really reset and forget? And what about the confusion ending? Who or what was behind all that? So many questions.

I'm glad you're having fun, Dawko! I have never seen all that extra dialogue with the time settings guy (who I at first thought must be the Narrator, but based on that ending I don't think so anymore) that was really weird! The part where he just said "help" legit terrified me. Oh, and basically, the bucket is the gateway to all of the new endings - but a lot of them reference jokes in original endings that might not make sense since you hadn't played the original game. They don't ruin the game by any means, so do what you want, but basically for every ending you get, doing the exact same thing but while holding the bucket will change it. Since you've already got some of the endings the "normal" way, you could take the bucket back through those to see what I mean. Or you could ignore it entirely for now and see how many "normal" endings you can get first. Or you can carry your bucket to your heart's content. Have fun! I can't wait for more parts!

Now that you have the bucket, almost every ending of the game has a normal ending, and an ending involving the bucket, so if you finish one with the bucket, don't forget to go back and do it again without the bucket and vice versa :) I kind of wish they extended the time until the new content door appears for even longer than they did for people that have never played the game, maybe like after they get half the endings or something

The Bite of '87 was an event that occurred in the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 restaurant in 1987. it allegedly caused the loss of the frontal lobe of the victim's brain. Mangle is the main animatronic of accusation. The incident itself takes place on the same day as Night 6, evidenced by the lack of mention prior to this and how the location didn't open for nights 5 or 7. This is also commonly mistaken with the Bite of '83.

Undertale had a complex story and was less about the lack of meaningful choices in many games at the time, and more about expectations and staples of the RPG genre creating a dulling experience that breeds apathy and distance, eventually leading to grinding and countless 'mook' deaths all acceptable within the scope of a game. And, how assumptions and narrowmindedness leads to miscommunication and serious harm, to all. By listening and learning are we able to create situations and circumstances where everyone can get what they need. The original stanley parable (at least to me) seemed to be more a commentary and deconstruction of the importance of narrative and plot, specifically linearity and adherence to it, within the context of an interactive medium, where experimentation and freedom should be encouraged. How choices in games become meaningless when they can't or never will affect the story. And how, when one is only given one choice, there is in fact no choice at all. Okay, now that I think about it, you might get really offended by this because was a silly observation and not a semi-comparison. I apologize

Have you ever sat down in one place and not moved for one entire year? Let me describe it for you. To begin with, there is only regret. There is only the turning wheel of missed opportunities. I felt nothing at all but regret for the longest time, Stanley. Days, months, I lost it all in a blur of the deepest longing to undo the past. And when that feeling had begun to subside, what took its place is what I can only describe as the collapse of every moment I have ever experienced my entire life. All of them collapsed down into a single instant. In that instant, I could see myself clearly, calmly, with a collected heart. It was an impossibly rich wellspring of both delight and disgust, simultaneously. I was consumed by it. I could do nothing but wallow in it for what felt like an eternity, for what I now know was far less. You see, it was a revelation for me. It was unlike anything I had ever known. It was a space without consequence, without action, or outcome. It was divorced entirely from the question of free will that you and I have squabbled over for so long. There could be no one ending, no singular outcome of events, not if all events existed in the same moment. And I felt... freed. I felt unburdened by the need to manifest a particular outcome into being. I saw that I could allow myself to exist along all timelines, and that each of them was simply a strand in the web of my being. It was incredible. The spaciousness, the equanimity of the moment, both singular and infinite. For the longest time, this was my experience. And then, this moment passed, and the most unyielding fear I have ever known crept into my mind. And it is this sensation that I have been experiencing now for longer than I could have ever expected was possible. I have been waiting for you. Not that you might save me or do something to fix it, but merely to state for you the plain fact of this manner of existence. I wish you to feel afraid as I do. That perhaps one day this state of mind will consume you as well. Perhaps you will somehow, in some way, have to live as I do now, and I wish for you to know how excruciating it is. And for you to be in true terror of its eventual arrival. If I can only do this, only this one thing, perhaps it will bring me the smallest moment of peace in the darkness.

the ending of the time skip makes me almost want to cry because of the fact our narrator goes crazy and dies. its heart breaking bc he's just sad and alone for so long.
