Hi Katy; The stainless steel has very little iron in it. It's mostly nickel and chromium, silica and manganese, and other nonferrous metals like Molybdenum and Titanium. One trick I have found is to put the cast Iron pan on the Nu Wave and then put the pans inside it.

Thanks for showing using multiple pots on top of stove at same time, as I haven’t tried that yet. I have the smaller NuWave and the older Stanley 1 liter pot that came with 2 bowls & 2 sporks.

Hi Karin! Great to see you! It just popped in my head to try that and it worked! I think it is great for one or two to heat up veggies and soup, etc. I have the older one liter also and it worked great for me too. I tested it and lots of other pots and pans too - so many that I would have probably bored people to tears!!! Thanks so much for your note! Katy

@@KatysCampKitchen Also forwarded it to friends figuring out induction stoves while camping, and almost everyone has one of the little Stanley 2 cuppers in their GoBags… it would be good practice to learn how to use it.

Both work great!!!! Some may like the newer design because a 32 ounce water bottle can fit inside. They may also like the larger capacity Great to see you!!!

That nuwave is pretty nifty but I have to change to my older electric unit because the fan on the nuwave is not microphone friendly

I debate with myself on doing a voiceover with the cooktop. I think I will try that next time and maybe add a note about the fan noise too. I always appreciate your great comments!

The magnet test for induction is not conclusive. Only an indicator. I have a lot of stainless pots that's totally non magnetic, but they work perfectly on induction.
