There are four reasons why these Follow Up Questions are so important at the end of your behavioral question answers 1. They allow you to stay brief and potentially expand on concepts 2. They will identify strong areas of interest for your interviewer (look for themes) 3. They might allow you to cover something you missed 4. They represent a clear end to your answer, ending strong is important

@noratan2859, awesome! And remember with learnings and follow up questions, only sometimes, these steps don't always make sense, but can also add tremendous value when used at the right time!

This video is really helpful. Interviewing is about differentiating yourself from other candidates. Follow questions are really helpful!

@user-pq7hx9vo3p, yes! And it is really important if you are going to ask follow up questions at the end, make them specific!

It's the first time that I comment on YT. Your videos are so helpful! Though I'm preparing for my business analyst interview, I still acquired a lot from your videos. Your instructions are very structural, beginning with the framework or methodology and then a vivid example. Thanks for sharing! Wonderful!

Dongqing, thank you for the positive feedback. Many of these concepts can be helpful for any role, including my Program Manager videos. I think a lot of the PM 101 can be applied to other roles including a BA role. Specifically, HBTRRSSS (Historical Data, Budget, Timeline, Resources, Risk, Scope/Scale, Stakeholders, Shared Vision) - I think exploring these items as a BA would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

Really helpful tips! I think the follow up questions is kind of leading the interviewers to ask questions in the areas you are good at and well prepared. The successful interviewees are not just answering every question perfectly, but guiding the conversation to the direction they want.

Amelie, YES!!!!!! You get me! The more time we spend talking about areas that are strengths/where we did well, the better!

Ugh this is so helpful, thank you! I'm going for a junior APMM role at google and it seems like behaviour questions are a big part of this role.

lilybind, yes for any Associate role, there tends to be more behavioral questions, but definitely be ready for a few open-ended/hypothetical questions as well!
