The intention of this fanedit is fairly simple, strip away as much of the awfulness as possible to try to turn this rightfully maligned hunk of nostalgia into a watchable story which Star Wars fans could stomach to sit through every year.
I have cut all of the singing and dancing along with some of the cheesier dialog and unrelated crappy bits. Sorry to tell you fanboys but also that terribly animated cartoon has also been purged from this edition. I hope you enjoy The Star Wars Holiday Special (stomachworm's Expurgated Edition). Maybe now Uncle George would enjoy The Star Wars Holiday Special. Happy Life Day."
