Great video Jamie! Aside from the Maldives, I’ve always loved this part of the behind the scenes of Rogue One. Especially the photo of the Stormtrooper extras looking exhausted. As a working extra I know exactly what that feels like. You’re right, it’s a shame more of it wasn’t featured in the film. It’ll now be on my very own bucket list to visit one day.

Wow! I'm wondering what was shot here that did not make it. As we know, about 35-40% of the final film was rewritten and reshot without Gareth, so I imagine there are a ton of scenes lying around somewhere. Wonder if this location was ever planned to play a bigger role, or if it was all B-roll that would have been easy to scrap.

I guess we’ll never know but I feel like there must have been a fair bit more as it seems to me like a bit of an ordeal to go and do a night shoot like that for just a couple of shots...unless it really was for the purposes of Gareth Edward’s bucket list! Saying that they only had 4 hours ish to set up, shoot & get out again so maybe they didn’t get too much out of it.

At the time the trailer came out, I worked at the building just outside the station (the one with the convenient pub on the ground floor!) and thought I recognised the station when I saw the trailer. The scene where they are running is on the east side where I would stand every night waiting for the train to Stratford. Shame it never made the cut!
