Given how often these flame trenches have to be cut off because the other NSF video about to drop, anyone else feeling like putting this stream an hour earlier wouldn't be a bad idea? Sure, don't force them to go a full 60 minutes longer unless they either really want to or there's just that much space news to talk about, stick to the same lenghts as now for a basic default, but restrain the guys a bit less at the very end timewise. This is supposed to be a relaxed fun discussion of the past week. It shouldn't be as constrained as I'm sometimes feeling it is. Or is that just me? Also happy 2025 to you all, both on this Earth and beyond it!!!

01:09:26 - YES, I don’t do software professionally, but this is it. I’m the boss of my codebase. But half the time the solution is to refactor and half the time the answer is to completely rewrite an entire system. Those take a lot longer, obviously. But rewriting the entire system lets you structure it so that it scales for the newest requirements. Because the requirements it was written for 5 months ago are obsolete now, so extending it these days is such a pain. But once you rewrite the entire system, it’s like, “Wow, it’s so easy to debug and extend this now. 😊”

EJ is more like me, but we ALL LOVE launchy things! SLS and Artemis should have been cancelled a long time ago. They have produced nothing except 1 launch in 15 years with Shuttle rocket engines that were "updated", with BILLIONS of dollars invested in the program 🤔 I hope to also see 300+ launches this year! You have a lot of people that lost time due to "the virus" and I think everyone is catching up and we will see A LOT of new and exciting launches! 🤞 China "borrowed" designs for their program and should be ready for more launches this year as well. Looking forward to a GREAT YEAR for launches!
