Loved the "getting ready" packing up, and Sherpy in his copilot position; as well as lounging and looking out the windows. I wonder if Sherpy got some Haggis on this trip? I think Sherpa can tell he's going to take a long road trip very soon because dad's voice sounds hopping-happy while preparing. 🤣😂, Thanks Mr. Jamie, for resting up after the long drive to Scotland. And thank you for waiting for the sunshine and light to show us the scenic view. Our Sister, when she was alive would show us the scenic views where she lived in the dark and not many street lights were on the route. Momma, our Niece, other Siblings and myself would have to keep a straight face and do the usual nods of seeing what she was showing but did not see a thing 🤣😂. We all knew not to look at each other otherwise we would truly crack up with laughter which would hurt her feelings. We all miss those journeys however, memories are priceless filled with blessings and joy 🤩

I would love to be able to go on adventures like you and Sherpa do. But being disabled it makes it hard to do. I did travel to 39 states last year and got to see so many beautiful places I've never seen before. I've always wanted to travel abroad but the thought of flying stops me lol.. Travel to NZ is difficult to do at the moment because of Miss Rona who must be obeyed. But when we reopen our borders and if you ever make it here at our Waitomo caves we have a whole underground caving adventure that is wheelchair accessible - adventure travel for the disabled

TomTom! 👏 I used to use one all the time cus I loved the gadget. Now iPhones and maps are so good I never bother anymore. I even had to buy USA maps one year for the TomTom 😂 Not needed now as it’s all free via Google and Apple maps. Thx for sharing. Fantastic idea, great trip and awesome company. Seeing you near my flat in edinburgh while I am somewhere else looking after my elderly nana and you two staying in a travel lodge paying when I would have just sent you my keys and told you to enjoy exactly where I live, normally lol (1 mile radius of Arthurs Seat and Portobello beach) offer is there still as my nana needs me for the forseeable future, just make sure Sherpa isnt a Starship chewer.....my Enterprise D I built is my pride and joy of my livingroom, but feel free to burst the squeakers, my dog doesnt last long so I have a standing order every month due to her.....destruction of squeaky toys lol

Pill pockets. Break them down. You don’t need to use a whole one I have found. My dog used to take meds 3x/day. Usually I used deli meat to wrap them but traveling I took pill pockets. You can make them go 2-3x longer if you break them up. And if smaller they tend to just swallow it vs chew it.

I just saw somebody sent you one of those dog slings in case something would happen and you had to carry Sherpa out. You probably should practice that at home so he knows what to expect and what to do ; he won’t forget and he’ll know what’s happening should that ever occur.

Treat your shoes with some scotch guard… mud and grime will just wipe right off! I like to rub a compound of my grandfather’s "secret" recipe on my leather boots and shoes… it’s basically saddle soap, uglycerine, and beeswax… melt it all down, mix it all together and then let it settle up or firm up… a little bit goes a LONNNNNNG lonnnng way!!! Take a soft rag and rub it into your leather… let it sit and soak In and them wipe it off… give it a good shine up/buffing and your shoes will be 100% water proof to puddles and rain …. It just beads up and rolls off! Mud and muck will wipe away without hurting anything too!

Jamie, did you pack your slimfast for the journey? You could have 2-3 in the fridge and have one chilled, one chilling, and one new one. So you do not have to pay 4 pounds for a sandwich.
