She takes the stairs &/or elevator to the WRONG FLOOR 10. With her eyes open (The same ones used in the preceeding events & she used all day) She walks to the WRONG apt door 11. At this door is a RED DOORMAT that she has never seen before & located on the side of the door is where the apt number can be visualized( Sorry I forgot she went blind) 12. According to different reports she either A. Bangs & yells on the WRONG door because her CORRECT keys won't open the WRONG door & Mr. Botham answers the door & is shot. B. Stated WRONG door was UNLOCKED & she enters the WRONG dark apt and SUDDENLY REGAINS HER SIGHT & sees an unknown male & fires her police issued weapon at suspect striking him in the chest 13. At this point she turns on the light & realizes she is in the WRONG APT & shot the WRONG PERSON 14. She regains her vision & calls 911 (It has not been reported that she began CPR on Mr. Bonham) 15. EMS & police arrive in 4 minutes and per a video taken by a tenant & posted on social media said officer can be seen pacing hallways & talking on phone (family? lawyer?) 16. EMS is seen providing CPR to Mr. Bonham who is subsequently taken to & pronounced dead at a local Dallas Hospital 17. Officer sleeps in a comfortable bed & remains free without charges for 3 days because this has been described to the public as " A VERY SPECIAL CASE" 18. Mr. Bontham is placed on a cold slab in the coroner's morgue as his family flys thousands of miles from St. Lucia to identify their beloved son & brother's body 19. 72 hrs later officer is charged with manslaughter in the death of Mr. Bonham & posts 10% of the $300K bail is back home with her family 20. There's no way she did this on purpose, that is, went to the his door on purpose, went into his house for no reason. Think about that. Why? She didn't know this man, had nothing against this man, it wasn't racial. It was a serious mindless catalyst of errors that unfortunately involved a deadly weapon.

After this I don’t feel safe in my own home if a police officer can just walk in ur door An shoot an say I’m sorry An get by with it. She new what she was doing. I feel sorry for this young mans family I hope the jury sees the truth. She should have a life sentence she took his life.

Wow, he brought it, Truth. Dead man can’t speak, but the prosecutor spoke well for him, even an untrained person would not miss a red carpet. No self defense here, she had options and chose not to use them.

If she heard someone was inside of the apartment, she could back off, use her cell phone and call her lover the police officer she's having an affair, or call police for back up, that's no way she's going to win the case, she went inside of the man's place and killed him..

Mr Defense lawyer, IT WASN'T HER APARTMENT!!!! Botham-Jean did NOTHING wrong, Guyer did EVERYTHING wrong, (before, during, and after the shooting) yet she is being painted (by her defense attorney) as some type of mistaken victim of robbery. Unbelievable. SMH. She is negligent and instead of her taking responsibility and pleading, she is playing the "I was afraid of the big black man" card. You are a police officer, trained to be disciplined in high stress situations. Domestic violence victims have been sent to prison for killing/shooting their spouses even though there were confirmed records of abuse, all because they viewed the person with the gun as being in control of the situation. It did not matter how scared they were.

She knew exactly what she was doing, that's sickening she gets 10 years so that means she will be out in 2 years maybe probation...SMFH...Drug dealers get more time, she kills someone and gets 10 years ok.. privileged ...Just sickening SMH

She obviously thought she'd be protected under the same use of force requirements for officers. Which then shows that the training and regulations are just wrong.. a TRAINED officer only needs fear, and a citizen needs proof of threat...

I feared for my life so I went through a door and engaged an unarmed man in his own apartment and shot and killed him in self defense. Really. What deadly threat was he anyway.

Even if she did enter the wrong apartment without realizing she had other options...not entering the apartment. She had chances to save his life by using 1st aid kits...call back up etc...I don't see one thing that justifies her actions...I am beginning to see her true motives...based on her response during the interrogations.

What does the Most High require that the jury do justice in righteousness without bias.... And grant justice be done on behalf of the person that died....This woman is shedding crocodile tears "fake tears".. U can clearly see in her demeanor her intent for those that study psychology..... common sense says she killed him in cold blood.....
